Volunteer Opportunities

Administrative Support
Assist with the day-to-day administrative duties, i.e. filing, data entry, mailings, research, telephoning, and presentation preparation for our Administrative Offices, Child Development Services, and Trauma Response & Guidance Clinic.

Translation Skills
Occasionally, ChildSavers is in need of an interpreter for clients’ caregivers. Please contact us to discuss your special skill and how you can help.

Events
Throughout the year, ChildSavers holds numerous special events. If you enjoy participating in organizing and facilitating events, we’d love to hear from you! Assistance is needed with addressing invitations, setting up, hosting, decorating, registering participants, etc.

Be your own Event Coordinator
You can hold your own special event or fundraiser for ChildSavers. Each year, individuals, organizations, clubs, and businesses find their own unique ways to help. Some examples: Benefit Pot-Luck Suppers, Birthday Party Toy Drives, School Bake Sales, Healthy Snacks Pantry Drive, First Tee Golf Tournament, and many more. For more information on holding an event for ChildSavers, please contact us. (Also, for Event request forms, please see the links at the bottom of this page.)

Host a Speaking Engagement
Would your business or organization like to learn more about ChildSavers? We will be delighted to speak to your group. See contact information below to schedule a presentation.

Healthy Snacks Pantry
Supply fresh and healthy snacks (individually packaged snacks, juice boxes, etc.) for our “Healthy Snack Pantry” available for our children and their guardians in the waiting room.

Stocking Stuffer Project
Community support is needed to fill stockings for the children we serve at our holiday celebration in December.   You can help by providing stocking stuffers, volunteering your time to help fill the stockings, or by making a cash donation.   “Shoppers” are also needed to assist in purchasing the gifts.

Children’s Holiday Party
Each year, we host a Holiday Party for the children and their family at ChildSavers. Join us in helping them celebrate!

End of School & Back to School Celebrations
These events are opportunities to provide our clients with fun and educational activities. Volunteers can interact with our clients and their families by helping us with a picnic, craft activities, games, safety tips, and more.

Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals and groups.
